Vertical Greetings

Hello
I hope all is well with you
This post is a tribute to
Princess Judy Palmer
who gave me the idea for these.
She is not only talented, but very funny too,
so do 'follow' her blog to brighten your day :)

I've wanted some vertical greetings for ages....
thank goodness for Stampin' Up!

I made these in the Peach and Emerald

Cut away the front right to reveal the inside panel

used the Seasonal Bells and Bell punch to make the pot
(I think Amanda Bates gave me the idea)

it has a lovely shaded stamp that's just perfect!

I have no idea where the time goes,
it just seems to go quicker and quicker, I'm sure you agree?!

Enjoy whatever you are doing

Rudolph Day August

It's the 25th of the month again,
and time to play in this month's Rudolph Day Challenge.
It's a great incentive of building up your stash before the christmas rush.

If you've been visiting (and a big thanks if you have),
you may have noticed I've made a 'few' xmas cards recently.

I decided to save this one as my entry,
as it wasn't really part of my Bundle Showcases.

I love the Vertical Greetings stamp set,
and I thought this little topiary tree looked a bit like an xmas one.
I stamped in red and used some new red GLITTER embossing powder (!),
stamped again in Espresso for the 'tub',
and sightly bowed the banner sentiment so it stood out.

I happened to have some triangle snippets of the Candy Cane DSP,
so I laid one to the side under the topper.
A sequin star tops the tree.

Happy Rudolph Day!

I might visit the Snippets Playground as I used snippets of
paper and card for this.
Do take a look at both blogs if you can,
there's some super talent out there.

Bells are ringing all over the place!

Hi
I'm here to showcase another new bundle from the new
Seasonal winter catalogue launching on 1st September.

Seasonal Bells Stamp Set, and Bell Punch.
Another versatile set with lots of useful elements,
and not just for christmas!
(all will become as clear as a bell)....

Try not to crick your neck, I forgot to turn this one :) ...
Copper, Silver and Gold Foil heat embossed with the Copper powder.
---

I had the Owl Punch in the background
to remind me to tell you you can use it to punch small holes....
---

Tried to show you the three foil colours, the twine, and
crumb cake snowflakes were die cut with the Stockings set :)
---

DO NOT get too close to foil with your heat gun,
it WILL bubble :)
---

Simples
---

Used some new Cherry Cobbler Ribbon,
stamped one bell in red, two red glitter embossed, punched and on foam pads.
---

There's actually stamps for weddings included,
however, I wanted an anniversary card, so I wrote with a glue pen and heat embossed.
Love the scroll in the set.
(sentiment is an old one)
---

Just HAD to use a new jingle bell (squeal!),
threaded it onto thin gold ribbon,
and attached it behind top layer,
mounted sentiment on foam pads, but.......

left room for it to SWING!
---

Amanda from TheCraftSpa shared this idea.....
the bell becomes a pot!

see!

Are you still here?
Did you nod off?

Thanks so much for visiting!
