Yes, I know what you're thinking!

Christmas?!

I wanted to enter Sarn's Rudolf Day Challenge

Which is all about making Christmas cards 

on the 25th of each month,

and getting ahead of the game..

I simply embossed and die cut a top layer,

tied some twine around it, then sticking it over a stamped image.

The right hand one has a stamped layered flower from the

NEW Petite Petals,

and the twine is NEW too, with gold thread running through!

I also added some gold glitter to the trees,

none of which shows up in the pic sigh!

Wishing you extras

I enjoyed my 'Wishing You' class so much I even made some extras to show!

The good thing is that it helped me start my own card stash for Christmas.

Here's a tag with decoupaged layers....

Here's a couple of  easel cards, using 'Special Season' and the gift boxes from 'Wishing You', as the stoppers, by decoupaging them to give height.

Christmas Tree

I wasn't sure if I shared this swap I made,

I liked it, and enjoyed making it so much,

I think I was planning on making a lot of my xmas cards in a similar way.

Hopefully, xmas is far enough away that you might forget it by then anyway!

I used the Stampin' Up! set  'Special Season'.

Stamped a couple of background trees in Pool Party blue.

The foreground tree is stamped in Island Indigo, then added some sparkly

Dazzling Diamonds on top.

I did a similar sparkly greeting.

The font of the greeting is so classy, don't you think?

I made it for a friend who loves blue, and anything that sparkles!

Team play day

Had a lovely day 'working' with some team mates today!

We all make swaps, and prep a make n take for each other,

fulfilling the 'Love what we do, and share what we love' motto of Stampin' Up!

So I will now share some of our ideas with you.

Here's my swap, a tag made from Coaster Board,

using Festive Flurry, and Special Season.

I added some bling with Rhinestones and silver glimmer paper

(mainly for Jan who couldn't join us today :( ! )
