Swirly Boats

This was a recent class,
using Swirly Scribbles and Swirly Bird

Made a stencil from vellum, and sponges and splatted ink.
Great fun!!!!!

Stamped and cut/ punched boat and sun.....
added greetings on the 'waves'.

Liked them so much I made some more.....

Then I did a variation......
but you'll have to come back tomorrow!

Live Laugh Love mini booklet

Saw this idea on the internet somewhere,
It actually uses an element from the Treat Bag die.

Some of the die sets, the Framelits, Thinlits,
often have parts that get overlooked when they are not part of the main project.

There's an insignificant set of holes...yes holes!
But if you look closely, it forms the spine where the booklet is bound together.

I don't have any fancy book binding things,
so was quite chuffed to discover this easy way of making your own notebook.
Just fill with some copy paper, and bind together with twine or ribbon.

I stamped the cover with a fave new set Layering Love,
then stamped the bird and splats from Swirly Bird
in the same crumb cake ink as the card.

Hope you are enjoying the weekend

Swirly Bird and Scribbles

Morning all!
Where did the time go......again????!!!!!!

I need to sort my life planner out,
so that I can fit more in!

So, the new Catalogue is now LIVE
and I've put in a hooooooooomungus order
coz I just love so much of it.
If only I could afford everything?!!!
Oh well, we have to have patience in life don't we?

One of my first want/need/have to have was
The Swirly Bird Stamp Set (141749)
and Swirly Scribbles Thinlits (141497)
(strange names huh?)
which you can fortunately get as a BUNDLE (142353)
so that's 10% saved on that one!
I could see straight away soooo many options with this one,
does that ever happen to you?

I got the set out and just had a play!
A bit random, but I love it when I have time to
just get inky and stampy and just see what happens!

The recipient was the lovely Di from Snippets Playground
gawd knows what she thought!
I suspect she'll be ever so polite and say "that's nice"!

Anyhoooo I've already made a few cards with this set,
so be sure to pop back sometime,
I do appreciate every visit!

I have a team playday tomorrow,
and have a fun project to share with them.

Do join my team the
TWINKLING STARS
if you want fab Stampin' Up! products at a discount,
and lots of fun, friendship, and inspiration

I suspect you are saying "where's the picture?
I just want to see the card, stop waffling!"

So, here it is......drumroll please.....

Oh well, life is full of disappointment,
we just have to get used to it!

Have a fab fun weekend!

Countdown to the new Catalogue.....

I can't tell you how excited I am about the launch of the new
Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue in a few days.......
On Wednesday 1st  June to be exact!

I went to a team gathering recently, and made these small gifts,
using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlets, which I absolutely LOVE,
and will be available with a stamp set as a discounted bundle.

I added glittery stars from the Stars Confetti Border Punch,
which will still be available if you didn't get yours yet.

I started off trying to use some DSP and a bigger star,
but it wasn't working, which is why I just had to try my new toy.

The inside is designed to take a gift card,
but there's space enough for extra treats.....like chocolate!

I've used Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush,
but maybe it's time to break out the NEW In Colours!
Have you seen them yet?
I am so excited I'll have to come back and share soon!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend,
it's a bank holiday here in the UK.
