Blue Balloon Festoon

Today I’m sharing a couple of cards using SU Ballooon Festoon.

There’s a nesting set of balloons and lovely stamps giving enormous possibilities,

which made it difficult for me to decide what to use.

I decided to keep a simple layout using the sentiment stamps, and I think third largest balloon.
I stamped the stars after adding the “highlight”, which also has three sizes of dies to choose from.
I added a twine bow on this one.
I’m ashamed to say it’s been waiting to be played with for months now, so I’m taking to MyNBUS #88,
where there’s a celebration going on for sharing our new or never before used schtuff.
Also We Love Stamping where the theme is Summertime but I’m using the anything goes option.

The second card is similar, but switching the stamps around,

and adding the die cut “string”, of which there’s two, which saves time when producing multiples!

I did also wink the stars, and added a few sparkles,✨ which you can’t actually see,
because I hadn’t added them until after I took the photo πŸ™„πŸ˜‚

This one is my homework for the Snippets Playground #537.
It’s also for Dudley’s birthday, who’s 8years old and so cute.
Here’s a photo of some snippets. I used some packaging to cut extra balloons,
which I glued to the back, to add dimension.

Charming Day trio of Roses

Hello, today I’m sharing a card inspired by Emma Goddard, Coastal Crafter.

I’ve used the Charming Day bundle from SU.

This card is a flat version of a fancy fold we did in one of her “card and a cuppa” sessions,

which are a constant inspiration and a small bit of “me time” each week.

This set has stamps, coordinating dies, and stand alone dies.
On a navy base card I embossed 4 strips of white card, spaced them evenly,
then added the delicately coloured roses.

Below is the stamp set, a card using the larger stamp, and another using just some of the other dies.
Another versatile set, which has already become a favourite.

I’m taking the first card to…
We Love Stamping (anything goes)

Enjoy your weekend

Creatures great and small

At the We Love Stamping May Challenge, the theme is “all creatures great and small”.

This led to me looking at my old stamp sets, and I found SU “Animal Outings” and “Love You Lots”.

First I made a simple card with Love You Lots…..

Seize the Birthday #326 also has an animal theme as a feature.

Then a couple of tags….

I’m taking this one to Stamping Sensations, “cute creatures” theme for May

The Rhino from Animal Outings is going with me to Tag-along and ATC’s, where the theme is pink….
I didn’t think a pink Rhino would be right πŸ˜‚, so thank goodness for the “anything goes” category πŸ˜ƒ

Here’s all three for today..

Remarkable spring flowers

 Hello

Today is a tag / bookmark for the

Tag-along and ATC’s challenge, Blossoms, Butterflies and Birds….

We Love Stamping, spring

I cut a strip of white card 2”wide, and punched the top with an old SU tag punch.
I used SU You are Remarkable for the stamping, Cutest Crew bird and butterflies die cuts,
so I’ve managed to cover all three options.
I blended some blue ink for sky, and added WOS on bees and flower centre.

Next up is one for Stamping Sensations, inspired by nature,

and Allsorts challenge 847, in the garden

using the you are Remarkable SU stamp set again, this time using just the infill stamps.

I think this is a bit too abstract and messy, but was quite fun to do.
I used what I think is a “wrap” stamp (a small rectangle) to make the “grass”, and the “dots” create a sky.

🌺🌼🌸Hope your weekend is going well 🌸🌼🌺

Wildlife at We love stamping

Hello, today I’m sharing a card for a nephew who likes wild animals.

His favourite is Capybaras, but funnily enough I didn’t have anything for those!πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

It just so happens wildlife is the theme at

We Love Stamping (wildlife) challenge.

I used an old SU stamp Animal Outing…..

I simply stamped the animals in brown and grey, trees in green,
added a thin black strip to ground them, and mounted the panel on some old SU papers.
I don’t know why I included Sassy Salutations in the photo, as I only used it for inside the card πŸ™„
I wonder if any of you have any Capybara craft items, or did you have to look it up like I did?!

Enjoy your weekend

Mrs Claus Christmas pud

Hello, today’s card was made with some old stash…

The Christmas pudding and sentiment stamped with Sweets & Treats, SU.

Fussy cut and raised up using some scrap card, coloured with blends.

The backing paper, Mrs Claus and the cane & cookies from Santa’s Workshop DSP.
It’s a favourite paper with felt elements to stroke πŸ˜ƒ

Peach on Earth are celebrating their 100th challenge HERE

There’s a mood board, which I’ve picked candy canes from, but there’s also anything goes.

I don’t seem to have any gingerbread men people, but there is icing on my pudding πŸ˜‰

Allsorts challenge 837 asks for a focal sentiment. I’m not sure mine is but they also have anything goes.

I’m also visiting We love stamping and Stamping Sensations ( Christmas)

I hope you’re having a good weekend.

In the pink for the cure

Hi, thanks for dropping in, this one is mainly for Jingle Bells,

pink Christmas for breast cancer ….

Using SU Yuletide Village and Falling Snow

I used different pink inks for everything except the trees.
I used scraps of card instead of foam pads, to raise the foreground images.
It’s something I do a lot, as it uses up scraps, and easier for posting.
It’s a lovely background stamp, and I built the village from a small selection of the stamps.
Lots of wink of Stella for sparkle.

Taking this to :
Jingle Bells, pink for the cure for breast cancer,
where there’s a donation by two lovely ladies to breast cancer

Stampin Sensations, anything goes

We Love Stamping, anything goes

Inkspirational, anything seasonal
