Multiple Masked balloons

 I went balloon crazy so I’m sharing the results that were worth making into cards

Lots of masking, and I rediscovered my punches

I love the offset layers, or jaunty angle!

The black layers and white embossed sentiment on black really make them pop

Simple but effective!

I did the last one straight instead of jaunty...

as I know some people can't abide wonky!

Among the awesome projects, we made these cuties....

First an easel card with a twist

here's a side view.....

Then this cute party banner (below top), and treat box (below bottom)

I just adore this banner, and Kim found the perfect straws to match the colours

The clever things was that we made 3 toppers the same/similar for all 3 projects!

Yay it's Party Time!

I went to a fun team gathering where we had gallons (and I mean gallons) of coffee,

cake and lots and lots of laughter.

One of the team kindly brought us all a make n take

using the Balloon Bouquet punch (140609), Balloon Celebration (140675),

and Playful Backgrounds (141920)

The Hostess with the mostest had these fab napkins,

which I didn't use, but kept because it's sooooo pretty and fun,

and love the colours black, white and melon mambo

(and I still have it, how mad/sad is that?!)

Party Pants

Morning

My Parents Birthdays are a day apart,

both the same age,

Mum has a 'toy boy' lol

Mum frets about throwing my cards away,

so I kept 'em simple this year,

unashamedly cased from Amanda at The Craftspa

So apart from the colour, can you spot the difference?

I like to make matching ones,

as they are on the mantlepiece together

Flowering Fields take two....

This is an idea I got off Pinterest,

using Balloon Celebration for a dandelion type effect,

that goes perfectly with the DSP

I used silver glitter tape....

and the dazzling diamond glitter tape.

I just love that sentiment from Party Pants.

I've also seen the rounding of some corners from peeps like Di from Pixie's workshop

More Marvellous Marbling....

....with the shaving foam......

Here's some more samples I made for class...

The first, using a small square backed by DSP,

stamped and embossed on vellum and punched the balloons,

mainly blue and red 

This one I've stamped small flowers on the background,

then used a smaller panel for the main focal point,

pink and green, stamped in black.

Marbling Magic with Shaving Foam

Hiya

Friday Fun.....Marbling with Shaving Foam....

...have you had a go at this yet?!

If not, I'll do you a workshop if you are local :)

I recently held a couple of classes where we had such fun with this!

You can stamp on it, add more ink, dry emboss, heat emboss,

punch it, die cut, add vellum, and so on,

giving many different looks.

Here's an example of a background made with two colours....

I then punched out a few balloons from the centre,

allowing me to use the rest as a layer behind a piece of white,

which I stamped and mounted with itty balloons.

Botanical Blooms

A recent swap I made using the Botanical Framelits,

such a versatile set.

Had Jan in mind for this...blue and sparkly...

Built the flower from glimmer paper,

cutting some 'seed heads' from a spare,

the stalks are balloon strings from Balloon Celebration,

Pool Party Glitter Ribbon finishes it off.
