Sending wishes

I’ve been making some one sheet wonders recently.

Do visit Ruth Trice at Artful Stampin’ for inspiration.

It’s great for quick and easy cards, with any stamps you like.
Stamp in your favourite colours on an A4 sheet, cut into 4 or more,
and layer onto base card and decorate.

(Old SU sets Daisy Lane and Sending Smiles)

Hope you have a lovely day

Snippets of Paper

I was lucky to book an online class with Kim Fee,

and she kindly shared a few extra card designs made using snippets of paper.

The Daisy one above uses squares of scrap paper,
with the sentiment and daisy also cut from snippets,
then wrapped in twine.

Below is a christmas one using rectangles of paper snippets,
with a fussy cut poinsettia fussy cut from a snippet of watercolour paper,
that has had wink of stella added for subtle sheen

I'm going to enter the Pixie's Snippets Playground, I just hope Miss Di lets me in,
as I've been playing truant for such a long time, and I can't wait to see Dudley do his new trick.
Do visit Di's blog, it's full of lovely ideas to use up those snippets.

Take care

Daisy Delights

Hi there
I've managed some crafty time, in between gardening and stuff.
There's always stuff isn't there?
Anyhoooo...........without further adoooo
Smile......go on Smile.....it exercises your face muscles :)

I've been following a lovely blog by Anita - NeetandCrafty
and feeling in a CAS (otherwise known as clean and simple) mood in
the Craft Room...........

I stamped and masked the daisies..........using sticky notes,
masked off a border with stencil tape ......not as tacky as masking tape,
and doesn't tear your project....ask me how I know that :),
and used a sponge brayer to add ink.
Below is the inside...

I used my Stamparatus (see above) to stamp the "smile".
I left the masks on the daisies, just in case, and was able to get a nice black sentiment
by stamping it three times.

I then decided I liked the smaller daisy more....and chose a brighter colour
(Mango Melody instead of Balmy Blue)
I added some stalks this time..........and used a black fine liner where it wasn't black enough.

I think this is my favourite, what do you think?
Do pop over to Anita's blog......she has some lovely elegant designs and ideas.
I'm linking up with PerfectlyCleanandSimple  Masking challenge too,
as there's lots of masking done here :)

Simply Fairies Retreat

Hello again
I hope this finds you well

This weekend I want to share with you a Craft Retreat I attended recently

It was organised and hosted by the lovely Kim Fee
of Simply Fairies
 Independent Demonstrator for Stampin' Up!
an awesome designer, team leader, and friend

This was the second one she held in April, which I hear was a bit smaller,
and a LOT quieter than the first :)

This was just one of the projects.....a lovely gift box of cards

I loved how the bottom was deeper than the top

Here's the box with the set of cards

and some more close-ups.......note the teeny dandelion heads below from Balloon Celebration,
and the white  perfect accents....take the backing off and they become lovely clear domes

Kim provides an amazing goody bag, as much food as you can eat,
and the most  gorgeous projects

Come back tomorrow for more!
Have a good weekend
