Design a Tee

I’m sharing this simple card to enter the

Snippets Playground Challenge,

a fun blog sharing ways to use up your crafty snippets.

The topper is an old laser cut sheet, which I stamped a background on.
The red seen behind it is actually a sheet from the packaging…..waste not want not!
I also used a blue snippet of card to stamp the T shirt which I fussy cut.

This was for my father in law who loves watching football.
I stamped an insert to make it more special.

Do visit the Snippets Playground for some super prizes.
Meantime take care

Mum and Dad Graffiti

I hope they saw the funny side of these "graffiti" Tee Shirt cards.....
considering they are 85 years young!

Mum is one day older than Dad, so I always try to make
sort of matching cards....

I think the Designer Tee set is so cute,
then I embossed the "wall"
and stamped using various sentiments and colours

I threw in a few "I love you"'s.....we don't say it enough....

I hope they have many more happy returns of the day

Design-a-Tee in a shoe box

I had to come up with a shoe box swap recently.
This is a make n take where you put all the stuff to make your card in a box,
for everyone to make, everyone else does the same,
and then you pass all the boxes around the table.

Its a really fun way of making lots of different projects,
you don't have to wait for anything, and you can do it in your own time.
There are some times when the boxes stack up,
but it's a good excuse to have a cat if you're waiting for the next box.

I wanted to use the Designer T set, so played around with the new doily and a couple of shirts,
I love all the tiny details in this set, like the collars.

I also wanted to share some of the new Glimmer paper,
but didn't feel the above worked right,
so came up with a simpler version

too many stamped flowers I felt,
so did a less is more version

which is the design I settled on (above)

Then I was in playful mood, so tried to make an apron with a Tee,
to look like my SU one.....

Here's the card I made.....

Not quite true to life, but it's always fun using stamps in "alternative" ways!

Happy Stamping!
