Gift Card Holders for Rudolph Day

Happy Rudolph Day :)

(albeit a day late)

I like to make this kind of thing to make money/ gift cards/ vouchers more special.

This is one of Mary Fish's ideas, quite simple to make.

It's a z fold, but the far left section becomes the pocket

The topper spans both layers, you can use any shape or topper.
Lots of paper has been used helping to reduce my paper mountain :)

You can use any punch to make a notch to make removal of the gift easier.
Here are just a couple of designs:

I later chose to make a simpler topper, with a red theme, and was surprised to find I preferred it!

You can design the inside any way to suit, leaving room to write your personal message in

So, which do you prefer?

I thought it would be nice to share these with the Rudolph Day Challenge
over on Scrappymo's Blog

Happy Rudolph Day!

Snowflake Splendor Trimming the Town

 Yes it's that set again!

With some lovely Snowflake Splendor paper this time.

Just love this paper, it looks hand made.

Love the sentiment Hearts come Home......
Even if we weren’t together physically we were together in spirit.

Happy New Year

Snowflake Splendor

These are some cards I made that can be lit up by a battery candle,

creating a lovely soft glow.

The aperture is backed with vellum

Snowflake Splendor has dies that cut this pretty frame,
and lots of snowflakes too.

The stamp set compliments, and there's some lovely sentiments.

Hope you're having a restful day

Snowflake Splendor

 Hi there

I was thrilled when I saw this gorgeous paper had some awesome images

on the other side to the snowflakes, with splats and inky washes

without all the hard messy work!

I thought it would go well with Forever Gold laser cut dies,
for a birthday.

Just love the versatility of SU products,
as well as the Quality, coordination and inspiration.

Below is the paper

I used the Well Written dies again too.

Happy Crafting, stay safe, keep well.

Get your Skates on

 Hello

Today I'm sharing some cards I made with Free Skate,

a set from last year I didn't get to use much.

I love the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper,

and saw this idea of using the stitched rectangle dies.

Cut a rectangle from white card, and paper.
Cut the paper in two diagonally, then line it up with the white rectangle,
flipping one of the double sided papers.

I had some sentiments in my stash cut from snippets,
and a lot of the die cuts used here were from snippets of paper and foil.
I didn't match up the sentiment layers, instead I used different shapes to layer.

I cut a solid skate from white, then overlaid the detailed skate in silver foil.
It is so pretty.
Using the two for one idea means you get to see both sides of a sheet of the paper.

Have a super skating Sunday
