Diorama with Whale Done

Hi there, Today's card is a bit  very busy,

but I felt my other half deserved an over-the-top-took-me-ages kind of card!

My brain struggles with back to front stuff, which is needed to some extent to work out the layers.

The Diorama layers are all Designer Series Paper (retired), and could definitely be improved on their placing, as my light to dark deep blue didn't quite work out.

I did try to keep the larger sea creatures to the foreground, and smaller in the "depths".
I then went over-the-top on the inside panel..........I'll let you know if he liked it or not!!

Have swimmingly good day

Whale Done

Here's a fairly simple card using the lovely Whale of a Time paper.

I did a watery background for the topper, using ink on a clear block, then stamped the images

to coordinate with the paper on the base layer.

I had fun making bubbles using shimmery crystal effects.
Below is the panel inside...

Have a good weekend

Whale Done Mermaid

Hello, I'm sharing a little underwater scene ,

that is mainly the fab DSP ( designer series paper) from Whale Done,

with a stamped mermaid...........but

..........it looks simple, but took longer than expected.
I had to mask off the "stone" she came sitting on, then inked just her.
I used the Stamparatus, so I could repeat stamp, making her nice and solid black.
You must remember to remove the mask before you stamp the image.

I then decided to use the "fishes" as her focal point....
the seahorse that comes in the set (which I LOVE) was a bit too big.
I then coloured bits of her with some old Sakura glitter pens,
and some wink of stella for a bit of glam shine.
I also used an offcut of paper to decorate the envelope.

Have a good weekend

Whale done

Another male card using Whale Done and the coordinating paper.

I fussy cut some seaweed and whales, then used the embossing folder for a textured background.

A fun simple card

Whale Done Nemo

Hi there
do you like a bit of punch art?
I had great fun making finding Nemo.....
I looked online for ideas, but ended up making my own version,
a mixture of punching and stamping

but the best part is the papers from the whale done suite,
just looks like he's swimming through the vortex of fish.

So, it was a lot easier than it looks, but it made me smile :)

I hope you are enjoying the weekend
