Don't we all love happy post?!

I think this may have been from last month

eeeeeek I'm still chasing my tail.....

Well here's one from Jan, using the new Flower Patch Framelits.

Can you see how she added some glitter to the tips,

and lots of rhinestone centres.

(Jan loves a bit of bling!)

I think it was using the new colour Blackberry Bliss.....

I shall be using this colour in my next class,

along with the Tag Topper Punch,

that Sarn 'made' me buy when we last met.

Goodness me we are a bad influence on each other,

but it's fun isn't it?!!!

World of Dreams

I love this stamp set!

Not only lovely images,

but lovely sentiments too...

Similar to before,

punched a circle from some scrap card,

inked through, stamped over.

I hope your week echoes the sentiment!

She sells sea shells......

A recent visit to a beach near Dungeness

was full of surprises...

The tide was high, it was just starting to go out.

I like collecting shells as mementos.

We could have brought home shed loads!

There were so many complete pretty shells

here's just some of them:

We had to make sure the animals had left the building in some of them!

There are lots of misconceptions about Dungeness,

but it's a beautiful place you must visit!

Bloom in your heart

Here's my first attempt.....

punched a heart from scrap, making a stencil,

inked through it, then stamped.

But I wasn't happy with the layout.....so

take 2, with the aid of my stamp-a-ma-jig

Matted it onto matching card, added a rhinestone.

The Bloom with Hope and World of Dreams stamp sets could be my latest favourites.

box card tango

Wow this even looks bright in the pic!

A fun card-in-a-box, again ?, did I hear you groan!

Fun vibrant colours of purples pinks and tangerine,

with a splash of blue.

Favourites Flower Shop and Papillon Potpourri.

Birthday Star

Had some fun with some various coloured embossing powder

from my old stash.

Embossed onto some spare white card, fussy cut and layered on top

sadly the multi colours don't show on the pic,

or the texture......but I liked this one!

Over the garden fence

This was one of those rare occasions, where my card turned out

kind of how I had it pictured in my head...

I stamped the wheelbarrow in the background,

put the 'fence' in the foreground on foam pads,

and added the sentiment like a kind of graffiti.

A few candy dots in toning colours helped to balance it.

I used Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist,

two of SU new colours.

This was another male card, and I was quite pleased with it,

which means it probably won't be so popular with you!

It's funny how that's often the case, whereby the one's we're pleased with,

tend to be the least popular.......and the one's we like less, are more popular......

or is that just me?!
