Last ones from Christmas

Just a few last minute ones I made this year to share.

I have loved these stamp sets,
they have been so much fun.

Some I made for neighbours

The following were a happy accident,
I found if I embossed in white,
then with a holographic powder slightly offset,
it created a shadow...

This was also a happy accident,
in that, to hide a mark I punched some stars to stick over
the offending area, and so ended up with a more is more type of card lol!

Well, you'll be pleased to know that I'm done with last Christmas
(I think!),

which is just as well,
because we now have a new seasonal catalogue
from Stampin' Up!,
with lots of new goodies to be had,
and some for free!

as it's sale-a-bration time too!

Plus I will have to start prepping for next Christmas soon,
so that I can enter the Rudolph day challenge on 25th of each month.

I hope you are having a good week

Share some more

Here's the last ( I think!)
of the hand made cards I received.
I've loved every one.

The Merry was embossed with white powder,
then inked over, and some bling added.
Such a pretty card

These cute lambs were embroidered,
as was the star they are gazing up at.
Very cute, and must have taken ages.
It's all in gold, and the background is glittery gold too.

This work of art was from Lesley Lendon.
Can you see the bird?
I love that it's punched from silver and gold glimmer paper.
Love the doily too.
It's even more everso pretty in real life.

Festival of Trees

Here's some more cards I received,
using the Festival of Trees stamp set that has a matching punch.
I've actually invested in this set to start next Christmas's cards!

Delightfully pretty in blue,
with embossed stars, splatters and lush ribbon

This beauty sat in the letterbox a while, so was a bit damp,
but still lovely.
I love the colours and matching ribbon,
it coordinates perfectly with the background paper

This was a little gift box containing a very posh chocolate bar, yum!
It's a bright red Santa's middle,
with a silver glimmer buckle on his belt.
I love this idea, it makes a simple striking card design too.

Sharing some more...

......cards I received

The left hand one had Santa flying on an acetate sheet
over a delicately coloured town,
the right hand one a paper folded tree,
with lots of bling

a stitch in time, saves christmas,
a lovely hand stitched Santa, and a spirelli tree

I love this delicate tag card,
with subtly coloured birds,
and a little spotty bow,
all on a snowy embossed background.

See you soon with more

Sharing....

.......some more lovely hand made cards with you,
that I was lucky to receive.
Thank you to all of you who sent me one,
I value every single one.

The above are delightful decoupage,
with many festive layers

The little mitten was removable,
so I could hang it on my tree...so cute!

Glamourous gold and glitter,
much more glitzy in real life.

I'll be back with more

birthday boy

Here's a birthday card for a special grown up lad

I stamped the first layer, and created a shadow around it with
a grey marker pen,
then stamped and punched two more tags,
faux tied them together,
and added some stars.

I was trying to be cool and contemporary,
but don't suppose it is!
I just hope he liked it,
or at least his mum might like it.
He'll probably just look to see what's inside!

I also made a thank you card similar

I will pop over to the snippets playground again,
as I used lots of snippets on these.

hop skip and jumping over to the snippets playground again,
as those dinky boxes used up lots of snippets of gold glimmer paper stars

Di has left the playground gates open until 3rd January 2015. She's having a bumper give-away to celebrate 3 years of being Headmistress of the Snippets Playground - you have 3 chances to enter and win her wonderful prizes - but you MUST let her know which ones you are interested in.
GOOD LUCK
