February Rudolph Day
Its the 25th of the month, so you know what that means by now?
It's Rudolph Day!
Every month on the 25th we share our christmas cards that we've made.
It's a fabulous way of building up the stash before the big day,
and you know how time flies by......!
Today I'm showing the prize I won in the
Snippets Playground...
(thanks Miss Di, I LOVE it!))
A Penny Black stamp called Chill Day....
cute huh?
Had hours of fun colouring these in with pens...
on the one on top I got a splodge of ink bah humbug,
so I chucked some glitter on, then chucked on some more until I hid (almost)
the offending splodge!
I used some embossing paste with glitter on some,
and just glue and glitter on most....
then tried a wonky sentiment, stamped a few others until I found my preferred layout
(decided I wasn't in a "wonky" mood!)
managed to remember to stamp the envelopes too....
a new resolution.....we'll see how long THAT lasts!

Charming Cafe
I'm back with the Charming Cafe,
but this time I'm just using this set, and featuring the window as the backdrop.
This time I've used pretty DSP,
which I've stuck to the card front, before die cutting.
Then I stamped and die cut the chairs,
as well as stamping and fussy cutting the window blind from a scrap of the same DSP
When I stamped the window, I inked it up, then gently highlighted the bricks
in a different colour with a marker pen, to define them.
If I time it right I might make it to the Snippets Playground with this one...
do join the friendly bunch over there when you have time, it's well worth it!

True Gentleman
Today I'm sharing one for the guys,
using True Gentleman DSP and Tailored Tag Punch
from Stampin' Up!
I got the inspiration from Pinterest.
Embossed the background card with the Hexagons Dynamic Embossing Folder,
punched shapes from the DSP, then faffed around with the layout.!
In the end I positioned the sentiment first, then placed the rest around it.
I felt it had more balance that way.
I fussy cut a border for the sentiment, raised it on foam pads to make it pop.

Let The Good Times Roll again
I used to love rollercoasters,
did the Disney theme parks, as well as theme parks in the UK, Spain and France,
even got T-shirts to prove it!
Just love playing with this Bundle from Stampin' Up!
To make the Pop up is a bit fiddly.....requires gentle patience,
but worth it for the wow factor.
The other good thing is it has lots of component parts you can use as well.
