Puppy Kiss with Paper Strips ……

…….and a whole lot more….

This old PB wooden stamp is called “Puppy Kiss”. He’s holding some mistletoe in anticipation 😃
Two things I love about wooden stamps,
you don’t need a block, and it has the name and maker printed on it,
so you don’t need to find out, if you mislaid the packaging.

This background is perfect for using up your papers strips that get left from all that cutting.

Take a piece of card, slightly bigger than you need, and start gluing them in the middle at an angle,

letting them overhang the edges.

(These are old SU papers)

Fill the page, alternating the colours and patterns, then trim to suit.

Hence I’ll be entering the above puppy into the new Snippets Challenge #531

Here’s what I made with the others….

PB “Naughty or Nice”
Allsorts Challenge #848 wants shaped cards or Anything Goes.

PB “Chill Day”

Taking this to Sweet Stampin’ for “Christmas” theme

It’s also “Rudolph Days” challenge, which I don’t often do these days, but this timing is 😊 good.

Thanks for taking the time to visit, and I really appreciate your comments

Hedgie ran off with Santa’s hat

 Hi there

Sharing another Penny Black wooden stamp, Chill Day….

I do like a square card, and I’m enjoying using up some older papers.
Hedgie was so cold that he “borrowed” Santa’s hat from the washing line.
He’s popped up, having been fussy cut, ancient corner rounder punch used,
(hands up if you still have yours!)
then another embossed white die cut layer on top of the papers, added gems, and WOS.

Landscape card, using an old felted/flocked paper (so soft), big 💎 gems on this one

Have a good day

February Rudolph Day

Its the 25th of the month, so you know what that means by now?

Every month on the 25th we share our christmas cards that we've made.

It's a fabulous way of building up the stash before the big day,
and you know how time flies by......!

Today I'm showing the prize I won in the
Snippets Playground...

(thanks Miss Di, I LOVE it!))

A Penny Black stamp called Chill Day....
cute huh?

Had hours of fun colouring these in with pens...

lesleyscraftroom.blogspot.com
on the one on top I got a splodge of ink bah humbug,
so I chucked some glitter on, then chucked on some more until I hid (almost)
the offending splodge!

lesleyscraftroom

I used some embossing paste with glitter on some,
and just glue and glitter on most....
then tried a wonky sentiment, stamped a few others until I found my preferred layout
(decided I wasn't in a "wonky" mood!)

managed to remember to stamp the envelopes too....
a new resolution.....we'll see how long THAT lasts!

Happy Rudolph Day!
