It's that time of the month again!
Rudolph Day!
This is when we enter our latest xmas cards
Playing with my new dies,
I cut a slither of trees, added it to an embossed snowy background,
added some faux stitching et voila!
I'm still in the habit of making two,
so this ones two layers of trees, inked and faux stitch edged,
plus a stamped and punched tree form SU.
Have a fab weekend
Lesley

Ohhhh, those dies are so pretty! The trees on the hill are so teensy...I love the look of them like that. The row of trees at the top is fab as well! Great, great dies.
ReplyDeleteI think I have to pay for the card thumbnails as I do not see it offered as a free selection. As I sponsor my challenge, I buy the prizes and cover the mailing myself so try to keep the other costs non existanct...but I do know what you mean about making it easier.
I think Pixies Crafty Workshop has the thumbnails...I will talk to Di and ask her the details of providing that service.
Thanks for taking part in the June Rudolph Days Challenge.
Hi Lesley,
ReplyDeletewhat super Rudolf creations, and I love the colour of the 2nd one.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Two great wintry scenes here, and I just love all those cute trees!
ReplyDeleteOh what fun to play with new dies!! I love both of your cards Lesley and have eyed up these dies myself. lol Just haven't broken down and bught them. Maybe one day....Your winter scenes are just beautiful and I love that you made two. I usually do too, but this time I was just lucky to get one made. lol Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are beautiful. However, the first of them am particularly delighted way of performing. A wonderful idea to check the color of unevenness of the ground :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great inspiration.
Regards,
Bozena
Both cards are gorgeous! I really like that embossed snowy background on the first one!

Two lovely cards, I think the second one is my favourite though. Think I missed those dies!! Jan xxx
ReplyDeleteBoth these are lovely! I haven't made my Rudolph Days entry yet, I must get it sorted! xxx
ReplyDeleteLove your gorgeous CAS cards for Rudolf day, Lesley! They are both wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLoving both of these. #1 has a fab design with the way you've tucked the treeline in among those snowy dots! Especially liked that. Loved #2 equally with the hills of trees. The trees show very nicely against that vivid turquoise sky. Also enjoyed your Bokeh Bday card. It's just beautiful. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards, I have a similar die and have hardly used it, I feel inspired now!
ReplyDeleteJane
Wow, you are using that die to awesome effect. Love them both. X
ReplyDeleteThese are both great but that top one is very striking!
