Wishes and Wonder for Rudolph Day

Hello again, twice in one day.........only because I didn't get chance to post yesterday,

and because I wanted to join in Rudolph Day on the 25th of the month for a change.

So here it is:

Using Wishes and Wonder stamp set, and North Pole Wonders Dies.

Love the stag....embossed him with gold powder, the sleigh was painted with gold wink of stella,

The tags are in navy and Shaded Spruce, as is the round tag,

This was to show the sparkle, well that didn't work :),
but it does show we had a bit of blue sky today!

Have a good evening, and pop over to the Rudolph Day challenge.
and the Pixie's Snippets Playground challenge for more inspiration.

Quite Curvy

 Hello, how are you?

Popping by today to share something Quite Curvy coming your way soon!

This was a very quick make for a friend going for an operation, (she's all good).
I used some Designer Series Paper (DSP) behind the bottom curves,
die cut the curvy leaves border, twice (one in Highland Heather),
then painstakingly used my Take Your Pick Tool,
which I have to say will be on my desk all the time now I've seen it in action)
to insert all the heather leaves back in..............so quick with the putty end of the tool!

I'm loving the sentiments and everything in this Bundle, which I will share more of soon!

Have a restful Sunday
(loved the extra hour here, but do wish they'd leave the clocks alone!)

North Pole Wonder in The Pines

 Hello again,

I wanted to use these sets for a non christmas card....North Pole Wonders and In The Pines.

The Perfectly Plaid Papers are great for fun and masculine cards,

as well as for christmas.

There's a sneak peek at the new Curvy set due out soon, which I used to cut a border,
(with small holes that can be used to pass thread through for a stitched effect).
I stamped a tree on white and spruce card stock, adding them and the stag
to a stitched circle also cut in white.

I added some twine and sparkly enamel dots (men can enjoy sparkle too :))
I hope I've shown these are not just for christmas.

Enjoy your day

Freezin' Fun

 Hi there

I firstly want to apologise.

Some of you are kind enough to comment on my Blog, then don’t see their comments appearing.

I have the comment moderator enabled, and don’t always authorise the comments for a day or so.

I found some comment notifications in my Spam folder....goodness knows why!

I struggle with the technology, so if you have any tips I’d welcome your feedback.

Anyway, today’s card is using Freezin’ Fun, a cute stamp set that I will have lots of fun with,

Given the time and energy!

I have used the DSP for the background, then cut a “hill” or “sea” in blue
For the seal and penguin to play on.
I tucked some trees behind, then added a sentiment.
The characters and trees were fussy cut, after colouring (badly) with Blender pens.
I hope it makes you chuckle, and boy we need something to chuckle about eh?!

Enjoy your weekend, hope it's not freezin' where you are

Meerkat Friends

 Hi there

a bit of Meerkat madness for a friend who loves them.

I make cards on behalf of a group of lace making friends,

and although they can't all sign their names under the current crisis,

I've been sending them anyway, to cheer up the recipients,

and remind them we're thinking of them, even though we can't meet up

I stamped the group twice, then the single one twice (one is in the middle).
Added the lizard (?), an inky background, and the stitched frame.

Colouring was rushed, and not my strong point,
but I still think they're cute.

We have a cold but bright weekend, so enjoy it, whatever the weather is doing your way.

Build more Wreaths

Hello, I have a couple more Wreath Builder cards today.

First up is using the more rounded leaves, which I again used Shimmer paint on,

and I added a second layer of leaves, snipping the second wreath into 3 pieces,

so I could arrange them to my liking.

I added more white velvet flowers, and a silver bow.
This bow is in the die set, and there's an extra piece to create a double bow.
Rhinestones and some leaves and a sentiment in Grey Granite completes the design.

The other card is in the same lovely pink and grey,
but this time I added some fussy cut birds from the Bird Ballad Papers.

I then couldn't resist joining in Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge,
so I fussy cut some teeny tiny butterflies from the Botanical Butterfly Paper.

I hope I've used the elements Butterfly+English Rose+Edges
where the edges are around the sentiment.

I am also entering the Double "D" Challenge where the theme is Wreathes.
I hope you will visit both blogs for some lovely inspiration.

And finally, here's one I made earlier....
this one is from last Saturday's post.

Have a good weekend

Happy World Card Making Day

 Well hello!

I managed to find some crafty time today...

and then I managed to find some sunshine outside to photograph my card!

My friend Jan of Twinks Stamping often takes her shots outside,

so as I've been in all day, and then the sun came out, I thought I'd give it a try.

Here's what I made using the Wreath Builder dies

and the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper...

You can't really see the Shimmer paint I splashed about,

or the white velvet paper flowers, but it's quite softly textured.

Enjoy your day whatever you do
