Have a Happy Day!

 Is it possible to have too much fun?!


Some of my SU parcels have been delayed, but I was cheered up to receive my latest one,
that included these cute chicks!
Hey Chick has been re-released, but Hey Birthday Chick, and two sets of dies are brand new.


There are just so many fun elements to play with!
Can you see the cute chicken house?

I've been using lots of Snippets, as you can see below, 

so I'll be popping over to the Snippets Playground, in memory of this little darling dog, Ruby...

I used one of the die cuts as a stencil (above top left), using my new blending brushes,
to make my background, so I'm entering this challenge .........

Lastly, the main inspiration for this card was from here....
I also did some fussy cutting for this card......some teeny tiny stuff!
I put a penny in the picture to show you how small.....
and I cut the hat and shell out twice, so they stood out, but without foam pads,
true dedication or what?!


Then (if you're still reading ) I die cut with a stitched border,
then decided to ink the edges..........you know when you get to the final bit....and.....
yep the ink went a bit slopdgier (not sure that's a word) than hoped!
Hey ho, it's all a bit of fun eh!

    Fabulous snippets card there Lesley. I love that SU have brought out dies for the older and now re-released Hey Chick set!

    Really cute card Lesley. Great stencilling too. Fancy them bringing back Hey Chick - I love that set of stamps, but wonder if you need to but both the stamps and dies as a bundle now?
