Scrappy Strips

Hello again.....I think I'm a bit addicted to challenges at the moment!

So I'm sharing two cards and two challenges........go on.........have a go!

Tall slim card, using some of those left over strips you get....you do don't you?!
And......some left over bits from the edges of that True Love paper.

Added some sequins, and entered this.......(I flipped it)

Secondly.......dug out a whole load of different colour strips and glued these horizontally.
The great thing about SU, is all the colours blend, and this is a riot!

Added some die cut butterflies and a die cut frond,
kindly donated eeeeeeeons ago!
Hmmmmm that's another thing I'm doing...........using up those bits!........
you know, the ones you keep because you can't throw them out!

Then I entered my rainbow here.........

Go on...........have a go!!

  1. Great stuff - just goes to prove that nothing should be thrown out, not even the smallest bits

  3. You've made two LOVELY snippets cards here Lesley. Feels good to use up some of the older bits and bobs doesn't it?

As it happens, I do have A LOT of longer strips as I chopped and scored a lot of base cards to go with my envelopes the other day!

  5. These are wonderful Lesley - especially the first! I love the way you've centred the stripes leaving white space either side which really accentuates the slimline card. Such a good way to showcase the 'edge' flowers too. Vicky x
