February Rudolph Day Challenge

A determination to get ahead with my christmas cards this year,

I'm joining the Rudolph Day Challenge, a monthly event on 25th of each month.

(yes, a tad late 😄😄, but you know what they say....better late than never. )

A never before used die won in Pixie's Crafty Workshop, (thanks Di )
a lovely frame with the die cut words attached.
As all my elements are using never before used stuff, (schtuff), I can also enter this challenge.....

I decided to build a small scene, with fir trees, and a teeny deer.
The photos show the imperfections on the gold foil card, but it's not so bad in real life.

I added a few gems for sparkle, then added touches of wink of stella.

We had a lovely bike ride today in the sunshine at our favourite place on Romney Marsh.
A much needed tonic, even saw some new born lambs......ahhhhh.

Have a good weekend
Lesley

  4. Hi Lesley,
    Happy Rudolf Days.
Your card is gorgeous and I love that shade of blue card stock used.
What a very fab die and great idea to make the scene inside it.
Would make a lovely shaker design too.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  5. What a lovely die that is Lesley - congrats on your win. I like the way you've added interest with the trees. Isn't the weather amazing?! I remember doing a bike ride in the Romney Marshes back in the 80s! (showing my age!!) Hugs, Vicky xxx

  7. Love your beautiful Rudy card and yes, better late than never Leslie! We didn't have many days to play along in Feb. as it was. So not really late. lol This is a fabulous die you won playing at the Playground. I love how you built your scene within the frame and outside of the frame, very beautiful indeed. The sparkle finishes it off nicely! The day of your ride looks so lovey with beautiful scenery to boot! Hugs, Brenda
