For Car fans......

Today I've made a couple of male cards, or at least simple cards for car lovers...

I do like a a sentiment embossed in white on black card.....and the black enamel dots...
my other half has a shirt like that paper....
Below a vintage model, the layout is based on a design by Kim Fee.

Have a relaxing day...

Snailed It

 Today I'm sharing Snails!

I did another kit class and here are some of the extra ideas I shared.

We used the Designer Series Paper and there is very little stamping.

They did however have to do a lot of fussy cutting....not everyone's cup of tea!

(No molluscs were harmed during the making of these ha-ha)

Have a great weekend!

Fruity parquet floor

I saw this lovely technique for using up those snippets!

I'm going to join the celebrations in

http://pixiescraftyworkshop.blogspot.com

where we come up with different ideas to use up all of our snippets.

I missed the last one, but the latest challenge is HERE

So, this card uses a parquet type of pattern,
Originally inspired by Jo Blackman, I then saw more ideas from the

I found it fiddly at first, but you soon get the hang and it's a teeny bit addictive.
Not an expert at tiling, but you can arrange the 3cm x 1cm strips in many ways.
I glued mine to a piece of copy paper first, then glued the trimmed piece to my card.

My tips are arrange a few before gluing, so you get an idea of what design you'd like,
leave small gaps between the snippets, and start with a piece of paper larger then you require,
so you can trim to the desired size, chopping off any unwanted/untidy bits!

Thanks for stopping by, and see you soon!

Dragonfly Sympathy

 Hi there

I had this card made a while back,

but just wanted to share how I decorated the envelope and inside....
I don't always get time for this, but it's nice to add that extra special touch.
The words are from an old set Lasting Lily.

My thoughts are always with you......thanks for visiting.

Berry Blessings

 Hi there

today I'm sharing a fancy fold card that is fabulous for using up those pretty papers we hoard!

It's also a simple designs that shows those papers off, without too much effort.

I used Berry Delightful paper, and Berry Blessings Stamp Set
(no longer available sadly, but just substitute with what you have)

I can't remember where I found the idea
(am I the only one suffering more and more memory loss?!)
BUT I did find similar on Patty Bennett's site
the link is HERE

I love how you can use any sets you have, and reduce that paper mountain,
so we can buy more eh ;)

Have a berry good day, hope it's fruitfull for you !
Do leave a comment with more puns if you can :)

Hey Girlfriend

 Hey there

Sharing a card I made using the Hey Girlfriend Stamp Set (154516)

I used a stencil to create the background using different inks and a Blender Brush.
Coloured the girls with Stampin' Blends Pens.

Die cut the greeting from Birthday Chick Dies,
and the name was stamped with an old set  Labeler Alphabet

I used Happy Thoughts (154507) for the inside....a fab sentiment set.
Popped it all on black and Magenta Card.

Have a fab day

Ink blending with a stencil, some light meadow stamping,

using my Stamparatus to get a good dark brown,
and to stamp the sentiment without spoiling it all!
