Forest fairy

The background paper does most of the work here.

The fairy and hare stamped i some very sparkly embossing powder

I did add some glitter too....

But the paper does all the rest.....

Rudolph Day February

Hiya, it's 25th of the month again, and that means it's time for the

Rudolph Challenge again..........aren't these months flying by again?!

I used Peaceful Cabin.....stamped the trees in basic grey onto smoky slate, and die cut.
Stamped and die cut the cabin, then die cut another slope with the cabin outline.

I then slipped the trees behind the cabin, and layered it on grey Marbellous paper,
and placed that onto some BeDazzling sparkly paper

I tried to photograph in the sunshine to show the sparkle, but it just shows lines ugh.

I'm entering  February's Rudolph Day Challenge,
and 52 Christmas Card Throwdown, where the theme is masculine.

Happy Scrappy Birthday

Here today with a simple card that’s happy and scrappy.

I used snippets of coloured card to cover my white card front,

a great way of using up those pesky small snippets strips left over.

I then stamped the large french  script from uniko,
and used my Stamparatus to stamp the HB multiple times.
The Stamparatus is a fab way of doing this, so you get even spacing without effort.

I then rummaged through my overflowing drawer of embellishments,
to find some matching enamel dots, which I added randomly.
I’m hoping the recipient won’t notice the script’s a bit wonky!

As I’ve used snippets I’m off to visit the Snippets Playground,

And I’m also sending it into the Birthday celebrations over at Uniko Studio,
where there’s a huge party going on.

Elegant ladies

 Hi there

I often want to enter challenges, but invariably am far too late by the time I get round to making something that’s relevant.

Today’s cards are simple, and were meant to fulfill the “elegant” criteria on the

All sorts Challenge Blog

So instead I’m entering them into their new challenge….”I love”

Because I LOVE Stamping!

I really do. I’ve tried all sorts (pun intended teehee ) of crafts but I get the most fun from stamping.

I stamped simple backgrounds, having stamped and masked the ladies,
Then paper pieced their outfits with some of the marble paper, that’s free during sale a bration.
.

Navy, blue, black and white….

Navy, pink, black and white.

I’m also entering the Dichromatic challenge at Seize the Birthday.
I’d never heard that word, but it’s using two colours with optional neutrals,
Which in this case are black and white.

I have two birthdays coming up for two ladies, so these will do nicely.
I didn’t feel sentiments were necessary, so I just did those inside.

I hope you are safe and well, with all that’s going on in this world.

CAS Christmas Classic Cloche

Hi there, today I'm sharing christmas cards, and I thought I'd use a new-to-me set,

Classic Cloche , which I didn't realise is just sooooo sweet,

and I just love little things!

It's a 3-step stamp for the images, so the Stamparatus is fab for repeats once you get it lined up.
I stamped the main trees and houses in soft suede, then the background in balmy blue,
and the house walls in crumb cake.

Die cut the image with a stitched square, and simply mounted on a white card blank.
To add a little detail, I stamped some "snow" in blue and added snowflake sequins,
plus a brush of wink of stella on rooftops and snow.

The sentiment was stamped in suede, then I offset it again in blue.
My alignment was a bit off, but I liked the effect.

I'd had in mind this challenge......

I couldn't help stamping lots of repeats, but I'll make small changes to them,
as I get bored easily!

I used darker inks, and inserted it into a sparkly stitched frame,
adding some rhinestones

Do join in the challenge HERE, or at least hop over to see all the inspiring projects.

Square Snowmen

Today I'm sharing another of the batch of snowmen I coloured.

This time I added a rectangle frame on top,

then added a lamppost from a  die I picked up on holiday last year.

I cut another lamp in yellow so I could insert the "light".

I'm taking this to the

Addicted to stamps and more February Challenge #422 Christmas

Here's the last one that I just mounted and added some stamped snowflakes and sentiment

and some glitter glue bobbles!

In The Moment Chalk Pen

Hi, we did this in class, so I can now share with you.

This is a very quick and simple way to Colour in your image.
It's white, so not exactly colour, and you can just select parts of the image

Typically, it looks whiter in real life!
I tried white pencils but the chalk pen dries to a nice bright white.
Any darkish card works, here I used Crumb Cake.

I added the cat from another set.
"In The Moment" is a fab popular set for all occasions

The sentiment is from Friendly Hello.
You can see I stamped the envelopes too.

Uniko Birthday

Today I'm joining the 10 year celebration of Uniko

I used my Stamparatus so I could hold the work down with a magnet,
then using small brushes inked some bright colours through their stencil,
and I masked off a few parts as I just wanted to use part of it.

I then wanted to scatter some enamel dots for interest,
but instead used them as part of the design
and to hide some places where ink had crept under and blurred the lines.

It's not my best inking effort, but I was still pleased with the result.
I finished with a bold Uniko sentiment

I also noticed a new challenge at Freshly made sketches

this gave me the idea for my NeverBeforeUsed Uniko stencil, so I'm also joining in

NBUS Challenge #35

And because I decided to get inky I'm entering
