Trimming the Town scenes

I can't resist showing you more scenes created with Trimming The Town.

You can see below how busy I've been.....

The papers are so adorable.
Team them up with other stamps, embossing folder and embellishments...

Here you can see the paper with all the words...and I made this one for our Postman,
It’s meant to represent a letter?.......
...........seasons greetings to our European friends...

......and on the opposite side these pretty wreaths...

See you soon

Trimming The Town in the Pines

I have had so much fun with this Bundle Trimming the Town.
There are so many scenes you can create using the papers alone.

On some I have used the Evergreen Forest embossing folder as a background

One of the designs of paper has sentiments you can chop up,
as shown above, where it's mounted onto a scrap of card.

There's lots of images to die cut, but also some you can fussy cut.
I have used lots of snippets for the sentiments, but also to back the images,
houses, trees etc., which make them appear more solid like board.

I used lots of snippets for the die cut shapes, to make the hills and snow too...

.....add sequins, and other embellishments, ribbons and wink of stella...

I'm going to enter the Snippets Playground Challenge,
which is a very special place, with lots of lovely people, and lots of wonderful prizes.
Do join in the party, all you need is a creation using snippets.

Have a great day

Coming Home and Trimming the Town

Some fun pics today.......just love the cute Coming Home Bundle

and Trimming the Town papers and all....

I did this as a kit class.......lots of die cutting, but I love it when dies match the papers,

and theres sheets of greetings too, so no stamping required.

The houses are so cute, and I had such fun making more of the same cards,
but forgot to put trees on these!

I also ran out of the tree paper, so used the people instead

I inked a blue edge to the snow and mounted greetings onto card.
All the houses and trees were backed with white card to make them stronger.

Have a Superb Sunday

Trimming The Town

 Hi again

I'm back with some christmas cards made using Trimming The Town.

I tried various ways of layering the sentiments, the one above I backed with two scraps
of card, balmy blue and navy

There's even little wreaths you can cut.
The trees and other papers can be cut as backgrounds.

I like edging the "snow" with a little blue ink applied by dauber.

I just need about 96 more cards like these!

Enjoy your day

Good Luck Trimming The Town

Oh how I love this set Trimming The Town.

It is so cute, fun, and bright.

You can get the stamp set, bundled with die set,

and some gorgeous papers that can also be die cut.

My first project is not all about christmas.

I needed a good luck card for a nephews new adventure at University.

I used dies to create the hills, sky and road,
stamped a die cut a car, and die cut some trees from Pine Woods.
Can you see my road sign?.........I used the street lamp stamp, and adapted it!
I tried to make the buildings look like a campus.

The papers below are just some contained in the pack.
A fab snowy scene, some tiny houses you can fussy cut,
and sheets of greetings, so no stamping required!
There's also sheets of the houses you can die cut, and even the uncomplete ones
can be used to decoupage with, or build layers.
Amanda Bates is one of many Stampin' Up! demos with fab ideas.

Come back tomorrow for some christmas cards......
Have a great weekend
