Hiya
I hope you've had a good weekend.
Hopefully you've had time to relax....like in this card
I made this for Alan
He has lots of hobbies, but I've made cards for all of them,
and was itching to try out the new SU! Embossing Paste
I used an old stamp set for the stars, stamped the greeting,
and die cut with the stitched square
He's a builder, and we were due a log delivery,
so I spread the paste through the brick wall stencil,
and fussy cut the 'logs' from the fab DSP paper pack.
I also stamped the deckchair canvas on some of the colour theory paper,
cut it out and mounted it on foam pads, did the same with the logs.
He chuckled and liked it!
I can't wait to try all of the techniques you can use with the
Embossing Paste..........

A super card Lesley. You've created a fun scene with some interesting techniques. Great fussy cutting too. Barbxx
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Totally awesome! No wonder Alan loved it. The SU embossing paste is brilliant. Fast drying & sort of thick mousse texture. Tried it & loved it xxx

ReplyDeleteThat is an absolute gem of a card for your Hubby. I love those logs. Hugs Mrs A.
