Snowmen and Frosted Frames

Hello, I hope you are enjoying my snowmen.

Here's some made using the Frosted Frames.

Stamped a die cut with an oval, I added poppy red scallop layer,

then elements from the Frosted Frames Die set,

which includes separate snowflakes and leaves.

The card bases are poppy red and whisper white.

Which do you prefer.....red or white?

I then did a few more using a favourite snowflake embossing folder

So Many Stars in night of navy

Stars for Sunday......and lots of splats!

I think this was another idea from Pinterest (I really should make more notes...)

Silver Glimmer paper stars and strips are glued to the top edge,

the sentiment is embossed in silver, and then fussy cut and raised on foam pads.

Splats were added with shimmer paint to create a starry night effect

Very Versailles landscape

Hi there

I cased this one from HERE

I couldn't replicate her gorgoeusness, but came up with this version for class

Love crisp white with Shaded Spruce and Copper

Use crumb cake for words background,

daubed shaded spruce onto leaves stamp 

(gives a softer look and prevents over inking,

or so I thought, until they over inked the dauber :)......)

Stamped and embossed the scrolly frame thing,

die cut copper foil swirly thing,

and splattered it all with copper shimmer paint :)

Die cut the hexagon type stitched shape and raised it up on foam pads

Very Versailles on Magnolia Lane cards

Helloooooo

Another lovely set is Very Versailles.....very elegant...opposite of me lol

Looks good on vanilla.......used the card blanks from magnolia lane,

a kraft colour with gold embossing

Layered some stamping, fussy cut the sentiment

did a panel for inside (adds a bit of weight if your card is a bit flimsy)

love that sentiment..(above)

the card blanks come with envelopes, and lining paper.

I saw someone had cut the paper to use as a card background,

now that is frugal!

Spirited Snowmen - how not to....

Hi there
thought I'd make a few more snow friends..
almost finished a pinky version, decided to try the long swirl for the "ice",
managed to get ink from the block, right across their faces,
tried to hide it with white gel pen,
chucked it in the bin!

here's one that did make it to the done pile....

watercoloured some "ice" this time :)

It Starts With Art

Hello again

This is definitely one for the crafters....It Starts With Art

die cut a frame (favourite technique) from that lush paper that really looks embroidered,

then stamped and die cut various "bits" and slung it all together!

Lots commented on the twine/cotton holder thingy.....just put sticky tape on back,

cut and layered some bits of twine around it.......I'm too tight frugal to wrap it right round

My favourite bit is the press studs cut from silver foil....they look real!

And the buttons get embossed so they're real too......now I wish I'd added some twine/cotton in them too!
