Hi thanks for stopping by.

I saw this idea on a Sizzix demo......ages ago.....

....only just got round to trying it.

Hopefully you can see below, how I cut stars from silver glimmer paper

and a panel of white.

Then insert the silver into the white and tape it on the back as seen above.

You can then mount the white panel on foam pads to raise it up.

I used spare strips of white card stuck on the back instead.

The one above was for a friend and team member, on achieving another goal.

I liked the design, so did another at the same time, for Christmas!

So Many Stars and Brushos

Hello again

Here's a card for a nephew that I made with Brushos

and the So Many Stars Bundle

There's too many photos here, but the light has been bad, and so I wanted

to try out different positions of light, .....plus show you how I arrived at this...

I had in my head to have an explosive tail to the star..

Couldn't resist adding that die cut in silver foil.

and coloured in one of the big star stamps in a kind of flower power hippy kinda way

To do the "tail" I masked off an area positioned roughly where the star would be,

added some water, brushos, then water, until I got the effect I wanted

I was going to add another big star with the gorgeous foiled acetate.

but decided to add a thin stitched star frame instead to the coloured image.

Did I choose right?

I hope he liked it, and hope he had a magical birthday.

Stars for Sunday......and lots of splats!

I think this was another idea from Pinterest (I really should make more notes...)

Silver Glimmer paper stars and strips are glued to the top edge,

the sentiment is embossed in silver, and then fussy cut and raised on foam pads.

Splats were added with shimmer paint to create a starry night effect

So Many more Stars in pink!

Hi there

back with some more stars (did I hear you groan?!)

Had to be pink for a girly girl who also gives the boys a run for their money!

(I have no idea what that saying means really)

So there's a bit of glitter, and I had to use a bit more of that lush acetate  :)

Some simple stamping in the background, added some die cuts,

and there are so many stamps, I was able to fill in any gaps,

to balance it out....who am I kidding, not sure I'll ever get the balance thing right :)

Its another large A4 folded in half = A5 size :)

Anyhow, she'll love it, because I made it, but even more because her beloved Uncle has written in it!

Hello again

You're going to see how much I love this set...

So Many Stars

Decided to make a christmas card this time.

Using the same black and heather base, I die cut white stars this time,

glimmer paper adds sparkle

I managed to angle a swirl around the "joy",

and added a heather star to tie it together

That's one more for the box.....about 99 to go!

I think this is going to be a much loved set....So Many Stars

It's a huge set, so many variations in both the stamps and dies,
with some lovely sentiments too. 

I think I saw this layout above on Pinterest (please give me a nudge if it's yours),

and you can tell it works, because it also works upside down :)

Favourite colours Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather, go well with black or white,

I cut some solid stars and inked them up, then the rest is just die cut....silver foil, glitter paper,

NEW acetate, and silver embossed sentiments.

A favourite in the die set is this swirl......you can inlay different coloured stars

I even found a coordinating photo background for these pics,

not something I have time for normally.....
