Celebrations Duo

Sharing my swap for our team training day
(aka day of fun with friends :) )

I spotted this new embossing folder straight away in the new catalogue,
as it's unusual....it's a DEbossed impression
and great for getting inky or doing all sorts of fab techniques

I used a brush stroke and some ink splats from Perpetual Birthday Calendar

added some wink of stella on the Happy, a strip of card with twine wrapped round it

I mounted one on a card I need for a boy....I could have chosen any of the In-Colours
Watermelon, Cucumber, Dijon

Hope you have a HAPPY day

Heartfelt gold and enamel

I got out this set which has sentiments that need very little added

sometimes there are no words

I embossed in gold and stamped splatters, then hearts,
then some enamel shapes to add more texture

Hugs if you're feeling sad

Workshop Wonder

Hello everyone,
and a VERY special Hello to my new followers,
thank you for your support!

I was a very lucky birthday girl recently,
and was able to attend one of Eileen Godwin's Workshops.

A great big thanks Eileen for the inspiration for my
swaps for team training recently!

Can you tell what it is yet?!

Here's a pile of 'em

One of the tags inspired by Eileen

A closer view

Just to show the scale.....errrrr not very big!

I made tags because there was a lot of us in the swap.
(probably took me longer than if I'd done a card!)

Took some watercolour paper,
a jar from About The Label, stamped and embossed,
butterflies from Perpetual Birthday Calendar, also embossed,
then watercoloured the jar with inks,
tied some twine around it's neck, added a label,
then Butterfly Basics provided the larger butterfly with a Rhinestone.
Mounted on two punched tags....Scalloped Tag Topper, and Note Tag.

I will show you the delights from Eileen's workshop another day.

I hope you have a fab week,
and hopefully lots of crafty time.

Happy swinging away

Hello
happy Monday!

Made this one for a special young man
I love this set Sheltering Tree,
you may have noticed!
This time I stamped lots of coloured 'leaves'
including some of my reduced flower stamp from Perpetual Birthday Calendar.
The sentiment again is from Hello Life.

Have a good week

makes me happy

In case you hadn't noticed
I love stamping!

I also love sending hand made cards to my friends and family.
I think about them when I make them,
so they arrive full of love and good thoughts.

Here's one two of my fave sets at the mo...
Hello Life......
(mainly bought for the happy big sentiment,
but am loving the others in the set too)
and Sheltering Tree.

The thing is......I wanted to try different 'leaves',
so I got out fave set three (ooo dear, just can't make me mind up at the mo),
Perpetual Birthday Calendar and stamped some flowers.

The thing is.....I wanted some smaller flowers in between.
The stamp is little, and it would have been fiddly to mask,
so I did a very naughty thing.....
I cut a bit off!
Well, it was just two little flowers, that I can still put with the others,
but it just made it so much easier to fill in the gaps.
I decided it's my stamp, I can do what I like!

I'm trying to remember to decorate the envelopes too.

Happy Saturday
