Let's Celebrate You

Sharing a square card today, using those papers again...sorry, but I love them!

This time I've used incomplete "waste" flowers, from the edges of the paper,

that I've then fussy cut and coloured with Blends, then glued to the edges of the white topper.

Another tip I got from Kim Fee was to not colour the whole flower,
leaving white bits that act as highlights.
You can colour these flowers quite quickly as a result of using this technique,
and kit class members were impressed with the effect, when we had our zoom session.

I've also loved using black mats, and white embossed sentiments on black.
I used Pool Party  base, with Coastal Cabana Blends (light and dark),
and added Rhinestones, coloured with the Blends, for added glamour.

I used more "waste" flowers to decorate inside, this time leaving them black and white.
The snail adds fun to the envelope :)

Take care, see you soon ......virtually anyway :(

Love You Always on highland heather

As youknow, I love these black and white designer series papers,

Love You Always.

Here I have fussy cut and coloured one flower, coloured pearls with Blender Pens to match,
placed onto some panels of paper, then onto an embossed Highland Heather card.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend

Christmas Hedgehog

 Hello there

Today I'm sharing a christmas card.....eek......well,

I know it's a BIT early, but I was having a sort out, and had some NBUS,

that I just wanted to try out, before finding them a home.......

I'd cut this huge "christmas", and smaller "merry", and had rediscovered this cute Hedgie stamp,

that was a prize from the Snippets Playground, a while ago,

and I had thought of using it for that all-in-a-row challenge,

which I ended up doing with a pennants set instead.

I had this idea pop into my head, and spent some lovely playtime putting it onto a card.
I used Blender Pens to colour.

Using courage I'd gained from following Vicky Hayes, I hand drew the left hand
"washing line", to attached it to the large "c", then hung the "merry" up to dry.

The green "merry" was from a very small snippet,
so I'm hoping I'm allowed to enter the Playground challenge,
along with the Rudolph Day challenge, as it's a christmas card,
and Darnell's NBUS, because the sentiments were "never before used stuff" (thinlits).

Take care
Stay safe
Thinking of you

Pick A Pennant

 Tweet Tweet ain't this sweet?

Wanted to enter the Less Is More latest challenge,

I really am trying to do more clean and simple.........sometimes!

I used the Pick a Pennant set, which is pain staking to build up the layers of ink and patterns,
and the elements are teeny tiny.

Then I was going to put the bird from the set on the line,
but I really like the Quite Curvy birds, so they flew in instead.
Can you see what type of bird I was trying to create ??

I have my Stamparatus out ALL the time now........and boy did I need it here

These are the sets I used...

Here's where today's inspiration came from

Darling Donkeys

Hee Haw
Kicking my heels up today to share this fun card..........

I've been trying some more ink blending with a striped stencil......
all went a bit pete tong but hey ho, this is meant to be fun huh?!

I also should have stamped and masked him beforehand,
as you can still see the yellow........actually it's just the sun shining on him...
that's my story anyhow :)............and you have to make mistakes to learn eh?

I got the inspiration from this challenge at Freshly Made Sketches
I'm also entering....

Hope you have a good day

Love You Always

 Hi how are you doing?

I have had the blues a bit, and sometimes it hard to get the mojo flowing,

but I have to say, with lots of inspiration from Kim Fee

and other fabulous demonstrators I have been totally addicted to the Designer Series Paper

True Love (154281) from the Love You Always suite in the new spring catalogue.

Here I fussy cut one of the sprigs of flowers....

It is all black and white, you can add colour,
but you can also leave  it be if you're not a fan of colouring in.

There are some lovely new Pastel Pearls that I used here,
but you can also colour your embellishments with alcohol pens to coordinate.
Add some wink of stella for sparkle.

I used these papers for my latest class kits, and had to have a design for the boys.
Here's how you can use some of the scraps (above).
The sentiment is from Approaching Perfection (155282)

Try to get the best use of your paper....thinks about where to cut to keep full flowers for example.
Above is a 6" x 6" piece.............ignore the arrows etc, that was for a class project.

Thanks for popping by, take care and keep smiling....things will get better.
See you soon with more makes

Geared Up Garage News Flash

One for the Guys.........
Mens' cards are so notoriously difficult aren't they!
Stamp set to the rescue.....NEW ....Approaching Perfection......... (155282)....
has some really fun sentiments.
I used lots of snippets of paper for the background, punched some out with the Tailored Tag Punch.
I therefore just have to hop over to the Snippets Playground.....

Above is the inside, using up more snippets of paper and card,
below is one of the sayings....so at for these trying times..

Take care, keep safe
