Quite Curvy Golf

Hello friends how are you?

I have lots of Birthday cards to make around christmas, which I always find a bit of a challenge,

well....... more than a bit, truth be told!

Luckily my lovely family in Wales are golfers, and I had this fab Country Club paper.

I'm in keep- it- simple mode here so I teamed it with black & white Plaid paper,

a die cut HB, and a die cut curve.

I used the 'other half' of the plaid to decorate the inside....

Splatted gold shimmer paint around and added gold gems to make it more girly.

The card base is a pack in my stash with a decorative edge.

Have a Super Sunday

Joyful Holly with Baubles

Today's cards are inspired by Bev Brown of the UnikoStudio

who's inspiration can be found HERE

I loved the idea of the rainbow coloured holly, and just happened to have

Joyful Holly to play with.

I used the Stamparatus to stamp, so that I got a nice black image,

and avoids any mishaps with uneven stamping,

especially as I was stamping directly on the card.

I then used Blender Pens to colour in the leaves.
I decided to keep it simple and not do any shading, then I added Wink of Stella to the berries.
I'm not sure if I should add Rhinestones to the berries, what do you think?

I then tried the same colours on Ornamental Envelopes, a lovely set that can be used
for anything else as well as envelopes!
The branch was from Curvy Christmas.

I felt I had to join the dots to the branch, but wish I hadn't, as they are a bit wonky!
It doesn't show but I added gold wink of stella to the tops of the baubles,
but now I'm thinking......glitter....gilding flakes............
I'm not good at knowing when to stop, so please help!

Enjoy your weekend

Forever Fern Greenery

 Hello again

I used the lovely Designer Series Paper Forever Greenery for this card.

I used a mixture of fussy cut and die cut leaves to tuck behind the sentiment.

The white layer has been embossed with Tasteful Texture

I like the touches of grey, which is something I picked up from Kim Fee's lovely projects.

Have a good day

Snowflake Splendor

 Hi there

I was thrilled when I saw this gorgeous paper had some awesome images

on the other side to the snowflakes, with splats and inky washes

without all the hard messy work!

I thought it would go well with Forever Gold laser cut dies,
for a birthday.

Just love the versatility of SU products,
as well as the Quality, coordination and inspiration.

Below is the paper

I used the Well Written dies again too.

Happy Crafting, stay safe, keep well.

Forever Gold Negative

 Hello again

I'm glad you came back to see the results of the Brushos.

I laid some card under the previous die cut, to get a negative image,

and this was the result.

I added another gold foil die cut to the corner,

on top of a Highland Heather frame using the stitched rectangles

and tucked these leaves under the frame, adding a sentiment.
I cut the stitched scalloped rectangle down, and lined up the edges with the frame.

Stay Safe, Keep Crafting.

Forever Gold and Brushos

 Hello there

I did a lovely workshop using the Forever Gold laser cut foils,

and decided to add more ways to use these delicate designs.

One side is white, the other gold, but we were shown ideas using the white side,
which inspred me to spritz with water and Brushos.

It did buckle, but lay it flat, gently pat and leave to dry.

I loved the effect, then grabbed another design to see what it would look like.

I liked the layered effect, so carefully overlaid the gold on top,
using tiny bits of foam to raise it and create depth.

It looked good against Purple Posy card stock,
and I found a sentiment in my scraps box, that went perfectly.
It did look better in real life ;)

Come back to see what I did with the "waste"..... :)

Take care
